FAQs

At Home with RWC is backed by the more than 30 years of history and experience of Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury. Our At Home care givers are RWC staff members – not contractors – who have undergone rigorous weeks of training and shadowing other RWC caregivers before they ever enter your home. You can expect to receive nothing less than exceptional care.

There are many variables involved in your customized At Home care including the level of care you need – personal care, companion care or nursing care, as well at the number of days and hours per week care is needed and more. We offer a free at-home consultation to work with you on the most helpful and affordable options available. Call 804-438-4000 or email us for a free consultation.

Personal and companion care aides can help with bathing, grooming and dressing, meal preparation, bathroom assistance, mobility, medication reminders, shopping, bill paying, transportation, housework and pet sitting.

Nursing care includes Registered Nurse oversight, disease education and support, guided exercises, dressing and bandage changing, and blood sugar testing.

At Home with RWC conducts a full assessment of your situation, your personality and preferences, and matches you with the At Home staff member best suited for your needs. If however, you are not completely satisfied with the assignment, we will find someone who is a better match.
